I went picking wild flowers on Thursday on my way back from Watchet and have inadvertently filled the flat with Hemlock, how am I supposed to know what it looks like? I have seven vases and jam jars full of it. It looked lovely until I found out what it was. It is dropping bits everywhere and some of it has gone in my sugar bowl. I used that sugar to put on my popcorn after I had sprayed it with water. Does this mean I am going to die? Could someone look up what sort of dosage can kill you? I am here on my own doing my accounts. If I don't make it, can someone finish my accounts remove my corpse and tidy my flat before my sister takes ownership of it.
I could be wrong (it wouldn't be a first) but it looks like cow parsley to me, same family, but you should be safe! Don't eat it though, I don't want to give you false information!! Xx

Does each floret have a little purple flower in the centre? If so, it's not hemlock. However, don't eat it or drink the flower water! Wear gloves to throw it away and don't throw on your compost heap!

Oh - me again - best to get your flowers in the florists... or stick to buttercups!
